Your itinerary
Day 01 : Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast for Tarangire. Spend the afternoon among baobabs, open grassland and riverine woodland, with special attention to elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelope and birdlife. Overnight near the park.
Day 02 : Tarangire – Lake Eyasi Cultural Landscape
Enjoy a short morning drive before travelling toward Lake Eyasi. Meet a local community host for a respectful, pre-arranged cultural experience focused on everyday life, environmental knowledge and traditions. The visit is designed as an exchange rather than a staged performance.
Day 03 : Lake Eyasi – Karatu / Ngorongoro Highlands
Continue through the Rift Valley landscapes toward Karatu. Depending on local arrangements, there may be time for a second cultural interaction or a walk around the highland farms. Settle in early and prepare for the crater descent.
Day 04 : Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Descend into the crater for a full wildlife day. Explore the crater floor with your guide, allowing time for wildlife viewing, photography and the changing scenery. Ascend in the afternoon and return to your accommodation in the highlands.
Day 05 : Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Travel toward the Serengeti through the changing landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue across the plains with game viewing en route and arrive at your Serengeti camp in time for an afternoon drive where conditions permit.
Day 06 : Serengeti – Full Day Wildlife Experience
Spend a full day in the Serengeti. The route is shaped around current wildlife movement, weather, habitat and your interests. With two nights in the park, there is more room for quiet observation, photography and extended time with a promising sighting.
Day 07 : Serengeti – Arusha / Airport
Enjoy a final morning game drive or breakfast at camp before beginning your return. Choose a road transfer or domestic flight connection depending on your onward schedule. The safari can also be extended with Zanzibar or another East African destination.
